Biography Berezin Alexei Sergeevich

Berezin, Alexey S. (1801 – 1824) – Scientist traveler to Hungary and Italy, was born in 1801 in Tambov province, died in 1824 in Zhirzhenti. Education Berezin received the Corps of Pages, where released in the Grenadier Regiment of the Emperor of Austria. Biography Kurchatov Igor Vasilyevich

Kurchatov, Igor Vasilyevich (1902 (1903) – 1960), Soviet physicist, the first organizer and leader of work on nuclear science and engineering in the USSR, the Academy of the USSR (1943), three times Hero of Socialist Labor (1949, 1951, 1954).

Biography Alexandrov Ivan Gavrilovic

Aleksandrov, Ivan Gavrilovic (1875 – 05/02/1936). IG Aleksandrov – an outstanding engineer and economist, researcher multifaceted nature and the economy of a number of economic areas the Soviet Union, one of the main participants of the plan electrification (1) and the draft economic regionalization of Russia, compiled by the State Planning Commission in 1921 (2).

His works were of great importance for the development of Soviet regional economic geography, as well as generally for the development of scientific methods of comprehensive studies of nature and farming areas, with their socialist reconstruction. Leonard Euler (1707 – 1783) – one of the greatest mathematicians of XVIII century, was born in 1707 in Basel. His father, Paul Euler, was a pastor in Rihene (near Basel) and had some knowledge of mathematics, acquired under the leadership of Jacob Bernoulli.
