Biography Shokhina Yuri Ivanovich
Shokhin Yuri Ivanovich (09/07/1943) – Academician, Director General of UII SB RAS. Born in Kansk Krasnoyarsk Territory. He graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 1966, graduate school at NSU in 1969, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1981), Professor (1984), Corresponding Member of USSR Academy of Sciences (1984), Academician (1994). From 1969 to 1976 – Junior, Senior Scientist, Head of Laboratory, Computing Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Novosibirsk, Russia from 1976 to 1983 – Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, USSR Academy of Sciences from 1983 to 1990 – Director of the Computing Center of the USSR, Krasnoyarsk, since 1990 – Director of the Institute of Computational Technologies SB RAS since 1997 – Director General of UII SB RAS. Commander of the Badge of Honor "(1982), Friendship (1999).
